MIG or TIG welding on aluminum?
I have a project to restore an early model Jeep. much of the back is completely oxidized and must be replaced .. while the frame is good, I'm thinking of the aluminum plate auditor would be good or corrector plate steel. but I'm not sure what type of welder to achieve. I have an AC arc welding, but burned in the light gauge steel. Any information on welding or refurbishing Jeep appreciated .. Goodbye my way to live in Thailand
I suggest you buy a TIG welder to use for the restoration of a Jeep. If you are a beginner, you will find a little more TIG welding MIG easy.
